Majda Barazzutti
Ms. Barazzutti received her Juris Doctor (Laurea in Giurisprudenza) from
the University of Trieste, Italy, and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 1988. She obtained a Master
of Law (LL.M.) from Cornell Law School in 1988. She practiced in Milan as a partner in the transactional
group of major international law firms until 1993, when she relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area
and was admitted to the California Bar.
Ms. Barazzutti practiced in San Francisco with the corporate group of Heller, Ehrman, until 1998, and with Baker & McKenzie until July 2004. She joined Gilliss Valla & Dalsin, LLP in July 2004, where Ms. Barazzutti has continued her law practice in mergers and acquisitions and general business transactions, with an emphasis on assisting Italian corporate clients doing business in the United States. Recently she expanded her practice to estate planning. Ms. Barazzutti has been active with the International Law Section of the California Bar for many years. She served on the Executive Committee from 1997 through 2000 and is presently an Advisor Emeritus with that Section. She lives in Berkeley with her husband and one daughter. |
